Tyrone Spong second KO victory

Mar 25, 2015: March 6 is the date that Mike Tyson made his professional debut in 1985 and won his fight by KO in the first round just like his second fight. Exactly 30 years later Tyrone Spong made his professional debut on the same date as Mike Tyson, March 6. Just like Tyson he beat his opponent via KO in the first round.
Spong that travelled to Germany with his team; trainer Pedro Diaz, Richard and his undefeated welterweight son Prichard Colon was there to train and fight as much as possible.  So two weeks after his first fight Spong was again in the boxing ring, this time it was in Wuppertal, Germany.

Last Saturday Tyrone Spong took on Emre Altintas who owns a professional record of 10-5. Just like his debut Tyrone just needed one round to finish the job. Altintas who started the fight well by trying to pressure Tyrone early on was not able to put Tyrone in any danger. It was Spong that dropped him with a beautiful left hook to the body. Altintas took the 8 count but it was seconds later that Spong delivered a crushing right hook that knocked Altintas out. Yet another great victory for Tyrone Spong.

He will now go back to his family in Holland and will travel back home to the States where he will keep training and help his teammates Anthony Johnson and Vitor Belfort for their upcoming May 23 fight. In June Tyrone will return in the boxing ring and this time he will travel to the UK to do some fights in London.
